About Us

The Westwood Lakes Subdivision is a well-established community located just west of Woodland Park, Colorado, at the intersection of Highway 24 and Piney Point Road. Developed over several decades, the neighborhood comprises approximately 160 single-family homes, all maintained under longstanding covenants that preserve its distinctive character and quality of living.

Incorporated in 1973, the Westwood Lakes Property Owners Association (POA) serves all property owners in the subdivision. The POA is managed by a dedicated Board of Directors—five members who meet monthly to ensure smooth, ongoing community operations. In addition, an Architectural Control Committee (ACC), established under the community covenants, diligently oversees all construction projects to maintain the area's aesthetic and functional standards.

Further enhancing community services, Westwood Lakes is supported by a dedicated water district managed by a board of local residents. This arrangement ensures that essential water services are both reliable and responsive to the needs of the neighborhood.
