Dumpster Rules
We are pleased to announce that the WLPOA Board is once again providing a community dumpster for our residents. It will be placed at 175 Piney Point Lane on May 19th.
As in previous arrangements, the dumpster operates on a first-come, first-serve basis. However, we have experienced challenges in the past with individuals overfilling the dumpster and disposing of items that are not permitted. These practices not only diminish the effectiveness of this service but also lead to penalties from waste management companies, which in turn could reduce the frequency with which we can offer this service to everyone.
To protect our community resource and ensure a consistent, high-quality service for all residents, we ask that you adhere to the following guidelines:

- Prevent Overfilling:
- Please avoid overloading the dumpster. Excess waste can cause spills, create a safety hazard, and compromise the usefulness of the dumpster for everyone.
- Being mindful of space helps us maintain an orderly and clean environment for our community.
- Abide by Item Restrictions:
- Certain items are not permitted in the dumpster because their disposal incurs additional fees or poses environmental risks.
- Failure to follow these restrictions results in penalties for our association, which could jeopardize the availability of the dumpster—an outcome we are all eager to avoid.
